Idaho

        During break I went to Idaho with a family friend and her two little boys. Recently Adrienne lost her husband EJ from a heart attack at age 28. His family lives in Idaho and she wanted to go see his family again for the holidays. Traveling with herself and her two boys is hard because Gage is 15 months old and Hunter will be three in March. I've been to Idaho a few other times with her and the boys, but never during the winter.

        I spent about seven in half days in Idaho because I traveled for about half of a day between airports. I flew into Idaho Falls, Idaho. Then drove to Salmon, Idaho because that's where the family I was staying with lives at. Salmon, Idaho is about three hours from Idaho Falls. I had the opportunity to go skiing twice at Lost Trail. Lost Trail is a ski resort between Montana and Idaho. This resort is a little over a half an hour from Salmon. Another day I went ice fishing at _____ Lake. I had good luck and caught a 14 inch rainbow fish. Jim, the dad of the family I was staying with is the varsity boys and girls basketball coach. Since I was missing basketball practice back in Iowa, he set up some scrimmages with four other schools around Salmon so I wouldn't get rusty over break. I also went to basketball practice with him whenever we didn't scrimmage. Jim always made sure I wasn't bored. I can't wait till I get to go back to Idaho.

Smartphone Taking Over Keys

Have you ever locked your keys in your car? Well your smart phone can unlock your car. There are certain apps you have to download to your phone. With these apps you can even start your engine. There is a catch, but its for your safety. In order for this to work for your car you will have to install a unit in your vehicle. For your safety your car will contact you to disable or activate your car if someone is trying to use there smart phone instead of you. You will get contacted by a text or a call, you get to choose when you install the unit in your vehicle.  Now I know if I do lock my keys in my car I can just use my phone.  I also will not worry about loosing my keys when I go on vacation because I'm going to make sure I just leave my keys in my car and when I get back I'll just unlock my car with my phone because I always carry my phone around with me. This is such a smart invention

Love & Basketball

At age 11 Monica move in next door to Quincy. Quincy dreams to be in the NBA just like his father. Monica shows up at the park where Quincy and his friends are playing basketball. Monica ask to play and they say yes because Monica has a hat on and the boys think she is a boy until, she takes her hat off to play. Monica shows the boys that girls can play ball and that she will make it to the NBA. Quincy and Monica's love hate relationship turns in a love couple towards the end of high school as they both get a basketball scholarship to USC for basketball. There relationship was going well until Quincy's family issues get involved and they break up. Monica and Quincy continue to work hard for there dream. They end up seeing each other couple years later. There love for each other comes down to a final one on one basketball game to see if they still love each other.

Thankful For!

I am thankful for my family and friends. Yes its hard to say that I love my family because they make me very upset, but they are always there when I need something. I'm thankful for my friends because they always cheer me up.  I'm thankful for my health because if I didn't have good health, I wouldn't be able to play basketball a sport I love to play. I'm thankful for the school I'm in because our school has a lot of classes to offer and it takes stress off my shoulders because I know I can get some college classes done while I'm still in high school. I'm thankful for my fans that watch my tournament scores for golf and keep encouraging me to keep going, and try my best. I'm thankful for everything I have because I have everything I need to survive.
